Commitment to Safety
At Schreiber Foods, the safety of our products and our partners is our top priority.

Safe Food

Our reputation and livelihood is on the line with every product we sell. To ensure our products are safe, we:

  • Evaluate all materials – from the incoming raw materials to the finished product – to ensure they meet applicable regulatory and quality standards
  • Incorporate Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles into our processes
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Monitor process control points to ensure our processes operate within defined limits
  • Continuously train and educate our partners on food safety
  • Continually audit our products and processes

Safe Work

Equally important is the safety of our partners. When our partners perform their jobs safely, we can ensure our customers get what they want, and get it on time. Our goal is zero accidents. In fact, our facility in Logan, Utah set the industry record in 2001 for more than 6.5 million partner work hours without a lost time accident.

We're always looking for new ways to measure and improve partner safety. In addition to emergency response teams, mock drills and safety audits, we have more than 20 different partner-training programs. And our training never stops. We retrain partners every step of the way – when the equipment, the process, or even the job itself changes. Giving our partners the knowledge, understanding and tools to perform their jobs efficiently and safely will always be a top priority.
