Interview Process
Hiring the right person for the right position is critical to our success at
Schreiber Foods. That's why we've chosen to use the Targeted Selection
Interviewing process.
Through our interview process, the candidate has an opportunity to learn more
about the culture of the organization and the position currently available, and
Schreiber has an opportunity to learn more about the background, skills and
experiences of the individual. It’s a win-win for everyone.
Through the Targeted Selection Interviewing process, the interview team:
-
Looks for key behaviors that are critical for success in a particular position.
-
Asks for specific examples of how applicants have handled situations in the
past.
-
Discusses this information with the interview team during a team review meeting.
The key to your success in the Targeted Selection Interview process is to
provide specific examples. Here’s how you can prepare:
-
List the projects, tasks and work processes you've worked on in the past.
-
As you list them, think about the behavior(s) you demonstrated during the
situations. For example: Did you demonstrate teamwork, initiative or customer
service orientation?
-
Practice your answers out loud ahead of time.
