KRING NAMED VICE PRESIDENT-RETAIL, O’CONNOR TO LEAD FOODSERVICE SALES AT SCHREIBER FOODS
GREEN BAY, WI – Mike Haddad, President and Chief Executive Officer of Schreiber Foods, has announced a series of Sales organization changes designed to ensure Schreiber’s continued focus on customer requirements while providing growth opportunities for the company’s strong Sales bench strength. Key among the changes include Staci Kring being named Vice President-Retail Sales and John O’Connor assuming broader responsibility as Senior Vice President-Foodservice Sales.
As Vice President-Retail Sales, Kring – who has served as Schreiber’s Director of Walmart/Sam’s Sales since 2005 – will have responsibility for U.S. Retail, Contract and Dairy Ingredient Sales, as well as Marketing and Product Strategies.
“Anyone who knows Staci knows she is all about energy, enthusiasm, action and results,” Mike said. “She and her teams have consistently built strong relationships with the customers they’ve served. Her work in Operations early in her career gives her a unique perspective on processes and requirements that are critically important to our customers and partners throughout our company.”
Kring joined Schreiber in 1995 as an Operations Team Advisor at the Logan, Utah, plant, where she later also served as an Operations Team Leader. She moved to Sales in 1998 as Business Sales Manager for Western Family. She then served as Team Leader for Western and then Central and Southeast Retail before taking her Walmart/Sam's assignment in 2005.
Kring, her husband Scott and their sons Skyler and Spencer will relocate to Green Bay, Wis., this summer.
As Senior Vice President-Foodservice Sales, O’Connor – who has been Vice President-Schreiber Chain Sales since 2004 and Senior Vice President-SCS since 2008 – will have responsibility for U.S. Burger Sandwich Chains, Foodservice Distributors and Family Casual Dining Sales, as well as Customer Service and Creative Services.
“John lives our values, cares deeply about our customers and our partners, and is a strong leader,” Mike said. “He has broad sales experience – before moving to Chains he worked not only with Distributors but with Retail customers as well. He’s been especially effective in building customer buy in on risk management and with our products beyond process cheese.”
O’Connor joined Schreiber in 1997 as Business Sales Manager for Eastern Retail. He was named Director of Regional Distributor Sales in 2000, Director of Chain Sales in 2002, Vice President of Chain Sales in 2004 and Senior Vice President of Chain Sales in 2008.
O’Connor, his wife Beth and their children Katie and Callahan reside in De Pere, Wis.
