Caring for our partners at work and at home

Schreiber is filled with great people all over the world who help move our company forward. In return, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package that enables our partners and their families to live balanced, rewarding lives. This includes:

  • Base pay and incentives. We offer a competitive salary, plus a performance-based incentive program that gives partners the opportunity to earn additional pay.
  • Great benefits. We offer paid vacations and holidays, along with competitive health care plans that include medical, dental, vision and life insurance.
  • Wellness programs. From weight loss and tobacco cessation programs to cancer screenings and gym membership discounts, Schreiber offers many wellness resources to help our people and their families live longer, healthier lives.
  • Retirement plans. We care about the financial well-being of everyone who works at Schreiber – during their working days and beyond. It’s important to us that we help them on their path to a healthy and stable retirement, so we offer retirement plans that meet the needs of our people around the globe. In the U.S., for example, we offer a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match higher than 90 percent of all U.S. companies. That U.S. plan also includes an opportunity to be part of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) – a benefit not many companies offer.
  • And more: Our partners enjoy a lot of advantages that go beyond pay and benefits. We give people a voice in their career path, helping them sharpen their skills and develop their talents to grow professionally. But they also grow personally, because they’re surrounded by partners who care about them and others in their communities.

When his wife gave birth to their third child a few years ago, Andy – a partner in Green Bay, Wisconsin – didn’t have to miss out on the first precious moments of his son’s life.

Thanks to Schreiber’s parental leave benefit, Andy was able to take two weeks of paid time off to bond with baby Otis – and also provide some relief to his wife, Ashley, during her recovery.

“I think Schreiber is a testament to an organization, that in my experience, has put emphasis on making sure that as leaders and as partners, we work together to make sure this is a benefit that is important for partners to be able to take and utilize,” Andy said. “At the end of the day, our families and the things outside of work are so important.”

One of the things that makes Schreiber truly special is the way partners take it upon themselves to rally around each other in times of need.

When tragedy struck one of our partners, Chad, last year, partners organized a chili and dip cook-off that raised more than $25,000 after the company match.

“It was simply amazing, you know how many people at Schreiber just truly care about you and your family,” Chad said. “I can’t thank everybody enough for all that.”
