Noblejas (pronounced no-BLAY-haas) is a quiet, rural village of about 4,000 residents in the heart of Castilla-La Mancha, the land of Don Quixote, Spain’s most famous and endearing literary character. The Noblejas plant is proud to have been a cornerstone of this community for more than a decade.

The area’s principal product is olives, which are used for the production of olive oil. Local businesses also produce quality red and white wines, which are marketed both nationally and internationally.

Local cuisine is traditional Castillian fare, though Noblejas itself could be noted for its “migas” (fried breadcrumbs with chorizo sausage) and its selection of roasted meats.

The nearest metropolitan center, less than an hour away by car, is the Spanish capital, Madrid – the center of the Iberian Peninsula. In Madrid, every kind of restaurant, bar and shop may be found, in addition to the myriad of cultural attractions, such as the world-famous Prado Museum.
