Logan, Utah

Our Logan plant recently celebrated its 50th year as part of Schreiber. We’ve expanded a lot during that time, and we’re continuing to grow in Cache Valley.

  • What’s here: Cream cheese, natural cheese, process cheese, yogurt, distribution center
  • Part of Schreiber since 1972

No need to worry about getting drafted or forced into extra hours when someone calls in.

We’ve made improvements so you’re guaranteed to work the 8- or 12-hour shift you planned on.

As you go through different stages in life, your work schedule needs can change, too. That’s why we now offer 18 different shift configurations to meet where you’re at in life.

Get health care when you need it

When it comes to your health – whether mental or physical – waiting months for an appointment is too long.

The clinic also has a full-sized gym and physical therapist on site.

Talk about the great outdoors

Surrounded by mountains, Logan is one of the leading recreational areas in the nation. Ski resorts, lakes and mountain bike trails are everywhere. Six national parks are within a day’s drive.

Logan has great stores and restaurants, too — in part, thanks to the presence of Utah State University. But if the big city is more your style, Logan is just 90 minutes from Salt Lake City, home to world-renowned libraries and museums, concert venues and restaurants.

Schreiber celebrates 50th anniversary in Utah by breaking a GUINESS WORLD RECORDS™ TITLE

Logan, Utah, July 29, 2022: Schreiber Foods is thrilled to announce we are the new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title holder for the largest macaroni and cheese.

Hundreds of employees and community members gathered outside the Logan manufacturing plant to participate in the excitement and enjoy the mac ‘n cheese made with Cooper® cheese. An official judge from Guinness World Records was on hand to verify the record and confirmed that the macaroni and cheese weighing 4,742 pounds was a new world record.

Derek Carlsen, Human Resources Team Leader, said, “What better way to celebrate 50 years of making cheese in Cache Valley than to break a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title?”

The public was invited to help eat the thousands of servings of mac ‘n cheese. Schreiber is partnering with a local food pantry to donate any remaining food to their clients.

The celebration came during Schreiber’s inaugural Week of Giving, which fits with Schreiber’s ongoing vision to do good through food every day. Schreiber’s 40-plus locations around the world dedicated July 24-30 to giving back to their communities through volunteering, food donations and other activities. As part of that, the Logan plant is working on another ambitious goal – to collect 50,000 cake mixes for local food pantries.

“Cake and brownie mixes are some of the most requested items at pantries,” Derek said. “People typically donate canned food items. But birthdays and other special occasions don’t stop when there’s a financial hardship.”

The plant is also raising money for local food pantries by partnering with local restaurants in a Dine Out For Hunger campaign.

“We’re proud to provide delicious food, and even prouder to know the small acts of good we did this week are making an impact in our communities around the world,” Derek said.
