To celebrate 80 years in business, Schreiber Foods is donating $160,000 in support of local and global hunger relief efforts, providing thousands of meals to families facing food insecurity. "This milestone anniversary is a moment to reflect on the people and communities who’ve supported us over the past eight decades,” said Schreiber President and CEO Ron Dunford in a news release. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back in a way that aligns with our values and helps nourish others."

In Saval, India, a village just 3.5 kilometers (2.17 miles) from Schreiber’s wastewater treatment plant, the soil had long surrendered to drought. Farming was a gamble, entirely dependent on rain. But today, green shoots are breaking through the dust — and with them, a renewed sense of hope. This transformation is powered by Schreiber Dynamix’s newly commissioned wastewater treatment piping system, which repurposes treated effluent — water that’s been thoroughly cleaned and purified — for agricultural irrigation.

Our competitors are anything but when it comes to food safety. Schreiber hosted several other dairy companies at the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy's Dairy Plant Food Safety Workshop at our home office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. “We were proud to host this event and demonstrate our leadership of food safety in the industry,” said Staci Richardson, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Quality & Food Safety. “We received very positive feedback from attendees.”

Beat plastic pollution – that’s the message the United Nations is pushing as the world recognizes World Environment Day June 5. Schreiber joins this global call not only with words, but with actions. In celebration of Earth Week, Schreiber Foods today announced a forward purchase of carbon credits from Brightly, a leading climate-tech company transforming food waste into high-integrity carbon assets. These credits — the first of their kind — are generated from avoided food loss and waste, representing an innovative approach to reducing methane emissions while addressing hunger across the United States.
