Schreiber Foods invests in tech talent with new CIDO

May 31, 2022

Green Bay, Wisconsin, May 31, 2022 – Schreiber Foods is taking the next step on its technology and innovation journey by hiring another technology expert in the food industry.

SriRaj Kantamneni has joined Schreiber as Senior Vice President, Information Services and Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIDO). In this role, Sri will lead Schreiber’s digital strategy and innovation. Sri will succeed Tom Andreoli, a 24-year Schreiber veteran, who is retiring in September 2022.

“We’re excited to have Sri join our executive team. He will help lead our digital transformation and work closely with the leadership team to accelerate our growth and impact journey,” said Ron Dunford, President and CEO. “The last two years of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity have been tough on most businesses. Companies winning with technology will lead the way in overcoming these challenges.”

“Agriculture has been a technology-first industry for hundreds of years,” Sri said. “We’re seeing that take hold in the form of digital adoption and the use of data and analytics. It’s an exciting time, and I think it’s an opportunity for us to help move the industry forward.”

Sri brings more than 20 years of leadership in data and digital technologies; supply chain; and production. He joins Schreiber from Cargill, where he most recently served as Managing Director of Digital Insights in Cargill’s Animal Nutrition & Health business, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, he was responsible for commercializing new products, services, and capabilities by leveraging data and digital technologies to transform animal production for livestock and aquaculture.

Prior to this role, in 2012, Sri relocated to Bangalore, India, where he was tasked with establishing and running a technology shared services center for Cargill. This is now part of Cargill Business Services, one of six global delivery centers. He has also assisted with integrations following acquisitions and was part of large technology transformation initiatives at Cargill.

Sri earned his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Illinois, and an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University in Ames. He grew up in Iowa City, Iowa.

Away from work, Sri enjoys playing racquetball, running and sampling new restaurants across the country. He is also an avid world traveler, having been to nearly 50 countries.
